About Micronetbd. Micronetbd Inc. is a SOC 2 Type II, SAM and NJ MBE certified Salesforce Ridge (Silver) Partner and DocuSign Consulting Partner, headquartered in Hamilton, New Jersey, with an office in Toronto. Our team leads legal technology implementations for US law firms, including Filevine implementations and migrations, and builds our own products, such as MatterOrbit, a certified Filevine document sync integration, and in-house AI apps for law firms.
The role. A full-time, on-site role at our Toronto office. You own legal technology projects from the first discovery call to go-live: Filevine projects, MatterOrbit, our in-house apps and other legal platform projects. You also join presales demos and represent Micronetbd at legal tech conferences and company events.
What you will do
- Lead discovery calls with law firms and map their current systems and workflows
- Gather requirements and help prepare the design blueprint for client approval
- Turn requirements into clear tasks and steer our technical team through build, testing and go-live
- Run client meetings and send minutes with action items the same day
- Be the day-to-day contact for clients, Filevine and other vendors
- Keep project plans, timelines and weekly status reports current, and raise blockers early
- Join presales calls and demos with prospective law firms
- Represent Micronetbd at legal tech conferences and company events
What you bring
- 1 to 3 years in project coordination, implementation, customer success or another client-facing delivery role
- Excellent spoken and written English, and confidence presenting to attorneys and firm staff
- Clear, fast writing: meeting minutes, follow-up emails and status reports
- Organized and able to run several client projects at once
- A degree or college diploma in business, information systems, law clerk studies or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Able to work on-site at our Toronto office five days a week
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Leadership experience, such as a fraternity or sorority president, student club, sports team, residence or volunteer group
- Strong people skills: you enjoy working with clients and colleagues and keep everyone in the loop
Nice to have
- Filevine, Clio, MyCase, NetDocuments or other legal software experience
- Law firm, law clerk or legal assistant background
- Data migration, testing or data validation exposure
- Salesforce, Workato, DocuSign or Vinesign familiarity
- PMP, CAPM, Scrum or Salesforce Administrator certification
What you will learn. No Filevine experience? No problem. We train you and get you certified through Filevine University: Filevine core concepts, Lead Docket, Vinesign and API basics. You also learn MatterOrbit and our in-house apps on live projects, with the team behind you.
You are our kind of person if "I'll figure it out" is your default, you follow up without being chased, you stay calm and clear with attorneys when timelines slip, and you would rather be in the room than on mute.
How hiring works. Apply on LinkedIn with your resume, or email it to [email protected] with the subject Associate Project Manager, Toronto. Shortlisted candidates complete a short written exercise (meeting minutes and a follow-up email from a short recorded call), then a phone call and an in-person interview at our Toronto office.
We work hard, and we celebrate harder
Monthly birthday parties, holiday dinners, movie nights, a river cruise for our tenth year, and conference nights with the Filevine community. Partners and clients visit the office, and now there is a second one in Toronto.
