Micronetbd Social Publisher and the Social Media Accounts You Connect, Including TikTok

The Micronetbd Social Publisher (micronetbd.org/social-publisher) is a web app that businesses and organizations use to publish their own videos to their own social media accounts, starting with TikTok. Anyone can create an account. This section explains what the publisher collects and how it is used.

Information you give us

Account details: your business or organization name, your name, your email address, and your password, which we store only as a one-way hash.
Videos and post settings: the videos you upload, and the captions and settings you choose for each post.

Information we receive from TikTok

When you connect a TikTok account and approve the request on TikTok, TikTok shares the following with us:

Basic profile (user.info.basic): your TikTok open ID, display name and avatar.
Profile details (user.info.profile): your username, bio, profile link and verification status.
Account statistics (user.info.stats): your follower, following, like and video counts.
Your videos (video.list): your public videos with their titles, links and view, like, comment and share counts.
Posting (video.upload and video.publish): permission to send a video you choose to your TikTok inbox as a draft, or to post it to your profile after you review the caption, who can view it, the interaction settings and any commercial content disclosure.

How we use it

To run your publisher account and to show your connected TikTok account, statistics and video results to you.
To upload or post only the videos and captions you select, with the settings you choose. Nothing is posted without your action.
To send you account emails, such as the email confirmation and password reset links.
We do not sell this data, use it to build advertising profiles, or share it with third parties, other than the hosting and email delivery providers that process it on our behalf.

Storage, retention and deletion

This data is stored on servers operated for Micronetbd. Each publisher account sees only its own connections, videos and activity. Micronetbd staff access it only to operate and support the service.
Uploaded videos stay in your account until you delete them or delete your account. Videos you post are sent to TikTok.
You can disconnect a TikTok account at any time with Disconnect in the publisher, or by removing Micronetbd Social Publisher from the apps connected to your account in the TikTok app’s settings. When you disconnect, we revoke the access token and delete the stored data for that account.
You can delete your publisher account at any time on its Account page. We then revoke TikTok access for every connected account and delete your account details, connections, uploaded videos and activity.
